About us
Founded in 2023, Leiria International School (LIS) delivers a high-quality international education through the Cambridge curriculum, from Early Years to A/AS Level, fully taught in English. As an accredited Cambridge provider, LIS fosters critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills — preparing students for success in higher education and/or future careers, both in Portugal and around the world. The school is organized into two divisions:

Our school is a member of ECIS (The Educational Collaborative for International Schools). It is authorized by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) to teach all stages within the Cambridge pathway:

Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level (AS/A Level).
And recognized nationally by the Portuguese Ministry of Education.
